Case Studies of Organisations supported by the GHF

The following are Case Studies of GHF grants to four organisations that the GHF has supported over a number of years. These detailed Case Studies have been written by the charities themselves.

Guildford Shakespeare Company

With the generous grants awarded to GSC, we have been able to develop and enhance “The Play’s The Thing,” providing touring performances and workshops on Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth to Year 10/11 pupils in 15 less advantaged schools in Surrey each year.

Kenya Children Centres

Kenya Children Centres (KCC) has been supporting deprived children in Kenya for over 20 years. The Geoff Herrington Foundation (GHF) has been a loyal and encouraging partner as we have grown, providing funding to launch and expand three of our major programmes.

Skillway

For over 25 years Skillway has offered teenagers a uniquely individual practical day in our workshops each week, encouraging and mentoring them to engage and participate in crafts and trade skills training.

Street Child

The Geoff Herrington Foundation has generously supported Street Child since 2019 – to advance education and support Street Child’s mission to ensure children are safe, in school and learning – especially in low resource environments and emergencies.
