The Geoff Herrington Foundation
Helping socially and economically disadvantaged
young people, at home and abroad
The Geoff Herrington Foundation (charity registration no: 1160567) was established in March 2015 with the objectives of advancing in life and helping young, socially and economically disadvantaged, people under the age of 25, primarily through 3 mechanisms:
- By advancing their knowledge and education to improve their employment opportunities;
- By developing their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals; and
- By providing recreational and leisure time activities to broaden their horizons and improve their conditions of life.
The Geoff Herrington Foundation has achieved these aims by making donations to UK-based charities and not-for-profit organisations that support individuals in charitable need both in the United Kingdom and overseas.
The Geoff Herrington Foundation has awarded grants totalling £2.1m, and is no longer providing further grants having exhausted available funds
