The Geoff Herrington Foundation makes grants to UK-based charities and not-for-profit organisations working with socially or economically disadvantaged young people either in the UK or in less developed countries.
The Trustees use a range of methods to identify potential UK-based organisations to consider for support. However, the Geoff Herrington Foundation does not accept unsolicited applications for funding. Our policy is to identify trustworthy and respected charities or organisations whose vision, values and methods are congruent with those of the Geoff Herington Foundation. The key criteria are that the organisation benefits young socially or economically disadvantaged people by broadening their knowledge, skills or horizons in order to increase their chances of finding employment and to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals in the UK or in less developed countries.
